Random Picture

Although this post is from last year, I still adore this family and thought they needed a re-post. They were so cute and fun and made my job look easy.

And since Valentine's Day is coming up, I thought I would share this 'romantic' picture.

The Catch of the Day

The other day was a holiday which meant no school for the boys and no work for the hubby. We decided to take the boys fishing. For the first time. They were SO excited and talked non-stop in the car ride there. They each had their own personal superhero fishing pole - which definitely meant that they were going to catch something 'super'.

Here is what J caught: a weed. And he couldn't have been more proud.

J needed help reeling this one in. He had the biggest catch of the day: a red rag.

C had the first catch (and the smallest). Can you see it? Like I said, the boys couldn't have been happier with their 'catches'. I'm not sure what they would have done if they would have caught a fish (probably fall in the lake screaming). And me..... well this is what I caught:

Someone Call the Police

Yes, you heard me, call the police because somehow, somewhere, my baby turned into a lego-building, cheeseburger-eating, video-game-playing, TEN year old. And what better way to celebrate than go to Disneyworld. If you haven't heard, Disney is celebrating this year. They are letting you in for free on your birthday.

Since we are annual pass holders, getting in for free isn't so big. But Disney has that covered too. You have your choice of either a $75 gift card to spend on whatever you want , get a one-day pass for later this year, or to get a fast pass to all of the rides. Guess what he chose?

I still can't believe he is TEN. Why it didn't seem so long ago he looked like this!!

Cody, I love you so much and I hope you have a wonderful birthday. You have brought so many smiles to my face. I can't imagine my life without you.

The Big Pizza Pie

I have always been fascinated with pictures of a full moon. More than likely because I have never been able to take a picture showing all of the detail - well at least the detail I can see from my own backyard. But I have a camera (which I love almost more than chocolate) and I was determined to get it. I pulled out my tripod and I clicked away. My end result? a picture of the moon that I actually like!!!

A Sneak Peak

A quick sneak peak from this morning's session before this young lady heads back home. I'd like to say she came all the way from Ohio to see me, but the truth is she came to see her Aunt and Uncle - but it was still fun taking her picture. She's adorable.
